Experience
I worked in Spain and several Central American countries, where I developed fluency in Spanish. When I returned to the United States, I taught in private schools and charter schools in North Carolina and Virginia. I have five years of experience teaching Spanish at the university level. My experience came at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Helping students improve their Spanish language abilities is something which gives me great joy. When working with my students, we practice reading, listening, and writing skills. My goal is to help those with who I work be able to put those skills to use in conversations.
