I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in biomedical engineering. After graduation I took a position with a medical company in the manufacture of heart pumps. I maintain a very strong passion for this field and the benefits it provides for people's lives. I also extend that verve in opportunities to work with students in their pursuit of academic and ensuing professional success. I enjoy and take great pride in working with students in their general coursework, preparing for college and career environments, writing skills, and job preparedness. I am especially skilled in mathematics and science, and am also experienced tutoring writing and helping to impart its critical role in most any career. I have a genuine zeal for life and truly enjoy doing what I can to show others the same. I approach my teaching by creating systematic analyses of the subject matter and my students, then developing goals specific to the varied methods of study used by each student. I take the time to ensure students receive a full understanding of a course and remain available to assist in every way possible. Away from class I enjoy working out, outdoor activities, salsa dancing, and travel.
